About This Content Note: This Add-On requires Cologne - Dusseldorf Add-On to be fully functional. The ICE 3 is a fantastic new-generation high speed train introduced in 2000, and now you can take on the challenge of driving this serious high-performance train yourself! Built by Siemens as part of their Velaro family of trains, the ICE 3 is the third generation of ICE trains first introduced in 1991. The 400-ton ICE 3 has a top speed of 320km/h (199mph) thanks to its aluminium construction and 8,000kW power output, significantly shortening journey times and improving the passenger experience. The Class 406 ICE 3M variant, as modelled for Train Simulator, was developed to run on the different railway electrification systems used across Europe and is used by Deutsche Bahn and Nederlandse Spoorwegen. The ICE 3 for Train Simulator is a highly-accurate recreation of the Class 406 ICE 3M high speed train in DB livery, complete with a fantastic passenger view which enables lucky passengers to see into the driver’s cab and through the windscreen during their journey. Realistic operating features include PZB90 cab signaling system, AFB speed control and SIFA driver vigilance system. ICE 3 also includes scenarios for the Cologne-Dusseldorf route.Includes:Highly-realistic recreation of the ICE 3M high speed train in DB white and red livery, including Driving First Class, Driving Second Class, Trailer First Class, Trailer Second Class and Trailer Restaurant cars. If you already own Munich-Augsburg Route then you already have this DLC. Check your game files under C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\RailWorks\\Assets\\RSC\\ if you see a folder called "ICE3Pack1" you already own this DLC and the only thing you will gain from this is the scenarios for Cologne-Dusseldorf.. ICE 3 EMU, without doubt, is a good one in TS2017, it worth having it! However, you'd better buy the ICE collection, more cheaper, if you are ICE fan.. Bought this when is was 23 bucks. NOW ITS 9?! GOD DAMMIT! other than that. Nice train. Definitely get this if you like German high speed trains!. I haven't got the Cologne-Dusseldorf route, but I bought it as an extra High Speed Train to use on other routes I own in 'Quick Drive' (until I get the hang of the German Signaling System then I will buy the route!)Good, but the blarb says that it is "a highly-accurate recreation of the Class 406 ICE 3M"... Doesn't the 3M include other signaling systems other than the German PZB and LZB systems? (eg. Crocodile, TVM430, KVB, ATB & Eurobalise)? It would be nice if this train featured these as well so that it can be used on routes all over Europe (as the original ICE 3M was)...Other than this, I can't say anything bad with what I have used it with...Any idea if the model will be upgraded to utilise the other signaling? (at least the French KVB and TVM430 so you can use it on the Marseille to Avignon route that has just come out! - it would then be a good starter for 10 for a Eurostar route also!). Amazing train, amazing sounds and physicsBut \u00a314.99? You're joking...Wait for a sale at least. Oh come on, we hear in reality that the ICE 3 is an all time great in the High Speed community, I mean Siemens had a great success with this train, with countries like Russia and China different variations of this train. Here in Train Simulator, you get to have a chance to experience the train yourself. I must say on the outside and the things you get, this DLC is worth the money. However, if you go into the minor details, you may suspect that someone was rushing to get the job done like the interior view, you can tell it was a rushed job and it is as useful as if it was not placed there in the first place. In the end, all I am suggesting is this train is worth I try I suppose, the creative among you can think of many scenarios with this train I bet.
